Marten	A few new features are available in the chat rooms on beseen. The new additions include the /relay and the /tunnel commands. Please see the BeseenHelp page for more on this. The BeseenHelp page is now generated automatically from the installed Metatron plugins. Only the plugins that you have access to are shown on this.

Voodoo Beta Released!

I'm pleased to announce the immediate availability of the first Beta release of Project Voodoo. Project Voodoo is the engine/framework on which beseen-chat.com runs and has been in development for a little over a year. The setup and installation are now pretty straightforward so I felt confident releasing it. The Project is available under a revised BSD license.

With the release of the default Project Voodoo setup, I also announce that the Beseen Bulletin boards are available as a individual Controller for Project Voodoo. Please see the Voodoo website and the Board Controller page for more information.

Private Bulletin Boards

It is now possible to add Private Bulletin Boards. They are managed in the same way as Private Chats. Users can request access to your Board and you can Approve or Reject them. Once Approved they will be able to use your own Private Bulletin Board.

I'm pleased to announce the beta release of the clone of the original Beseen Bulletin boards.

You can now add and manage Bulletin boards on your user account. To get started i recommend going to the Bulletin board start page. You can also get to a demo board.

The site beseen-chat.com has been updated to the latest version of Project Voodoo (soon to be available for download). Below is a short list of the new additions.

Ban/Unban

As a Chat owner you can now Ban and Unban users on a per chat level. You can get there by going to your My Chats overview and clicking on the access link. You can currently Ban by Handle (Username) or by Hashed Ip.

Original BeSeen icons

The original BeSeen icons (//beer, //lips, etc) can be enabled on a per chat base. You can enable them by going to your My Chats overview and then to the layout edit page. You can find a checkbox there that says Original BeSeen Icons. If you select that and click on the Update Layout button the icons will become available for your chatters in the selected Chat Room.

User Links

Chatter can now add a website as a link to their handle. You can add a link by click on Get/Change Handle or by typing the following in the Say It text input:

/website www.mywebsite.com

Those are the most direct visible changes. Please keep an eye out for upcoming changes and the release of the first public available version of Project Voodoo.
